I have seen over and over again how a small percentage of Asian men that dates outside their ethnic group just rack up the notches. And you might be surprised that they range from the “fresh off the boats” to the second and third generation Asian Americans. This really isn’t any coincidence. It let’s me come in under the radar. Maybe it’s just a good mindset, but let’s get one thing straight…it is mental. If you want to change your results then you have to change your ways. And changing your ways can be tough. Some guys will rebut with the classic “can’t I just be myself?” or “I want her to like me for who I am”. You can go ahead and stick with those thoughts; I’m just trying to help you out. Listen, how you are now has been forged though your life experiences, you have been taught to be the way you are. Now you need to be taught a different way.

The shy Asian male is probably the biggest sticking point I have noticed. White westernized women don’t want the shy guy. A shy guy is just a friend. Just a guy to hitch rides from. Be social. Learn to converse with other people. Ask open ended questions like “how was your day?” AND LISTEN! Don’t be a smart ass and cut people off and talk about yourself. Go out and transform yourself, your biology degree won’t help you with your social skills. Actually your “good student” persona is probably making it worse for you.

There are a lot of you guys out there who aren’t really considered shy. You’re probably an Asian American with good social skills but when it comes to flirting with girls outside your race, you fail big time. On the outside you tell people that “you don’t care” or you say to yourself how much of a cool guy you are, but deep down inside, you fear white girls. You can admit it or not, if that’s the way you want to be, and then be my guest.

If you are harboring some doubt at this time..STOP. It’s going to hurt your confidence and ultimately your success. It’s really about your mindset and believing in yourself. The dating scene for Asian men is easier if you ask me, but again, it’s all in my mind. And it’s all I need.
